Japanese AV stars are quite popular in Taiwan and Taiwanese movie house Three Dots Entertainment have cast her in Taiwan’s first-ever slasher horror movie called “Invitation Only,”
In the film, Maria Ozawa plays a supermodel (what else?) with dialogue in both English and Japanese. The film co-stars Julianne Chu (who appeared in a low-budget Japanese sex and drugs movie Addict No Yûrekkan アディクトの優劣感).
Invitation Only is scheduled for release in Taiwan this August though no word yet on international distribution. Seems like Maria is testing the waters and her non AV acting skills before making the big decision.
This film was already released in taiwan in august. MO’s part is very small and only really includes a simulated sex scene. She doesn’t talk much, then she dies.
Unfortunately the film was a flop, but it was re-released again in april with increased publicity, but it was unfortunately also a flop.
